Ross Christopher Fairbairn was born and raised in Richmond, B.C. and has been a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter for over 25 years.
His unwavering musical curiosity has brought him to learn from many mentors and their eclectic combination of styles like R.L. Burnside, Scott H. Biram, Danny Michel, Tom Waits, Bob Log 111, and Kenny Brown. Ross is a full-time musician in Vancouver, performing and touring with C.R. Avery, The Cat Murphy Band, and Salt Thief, and has been playing with Leah since 2014. |
Al Haley grew up in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, listening to jazz and old country. He started playing bass and guitar as a teenager, performing in different bands over the years as well as theatre groups.
Al currently plays the mandolin, pedal steel, and guitar with various bands in Vancouver. He writes and performs with his band The Spillionaires, which is where Leah and Al first met back in 2017. Al is now an adult education teacher. When he’s not working or playing music, he’s out camping and hiking. |
Tom Tischer is a drummer from Vancouver BC, Canada. Since 2002, he has performed for audiences hundreds of times from Haida Gwaii to Montreal and all points in between. He has played or recorded with such acts as The National Shield, Gena Perala, The Pernell Reichert Band, The Burnettes, C.R. Avery, and Julie Doiron.
He currently plays with local acts Furnace Maintenance, and Leah Barley. |
