Ross Christopher Fairbairn is a multi-instrumental Canadian singer-songwriter and for the last 25ish years.
His unwavering musical curiosity has brought him to learn from many mentors and their eclectic combination of styles like R.L. Burnside, Scott H. Biram, Danny Michel, Tom Waits, Bob Log 111 and Kenny Brown. Ross would say that the only thing he's every trying to do is have some fun; to get his story out there. He plays guitar, banjo, bass, ukulele, piano, harmonium and has just started working with a cello. He also has a cahon, euphonium and various other trinkets in his home studio. Basically, if it makes a noise, Ross will figure out something to do with it. Starting with an epic two week tour in the summer of 2014, Ross has been playing guitar, banjo, and stand-up bass with Leah non-stop pretty much everywhere from Vancouver Island to Saskatoon. |
